All Greeley Parade Band
Parade Marching Band made up of students from all Greeley Area Middle and High Schools. The Band practices in June and marches in the Independence Stampede Parade on July 4th.
Building and Facility Use
Community use of district buildings is coordinated through the Facilities and Planning Department. All applications for building or site use must be submitted through the Facilities Operations Center.

Facilities Operation Center Services is headquartered at 2204 5th Ave. Regular office hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am - 5:00 pm and may be contacted by dialing (970) 348-6402. Any calls placed after 5:00pm are routed to an answering service. The answering service will then contact the appropriate supervisor if an urgent or emergency situation occurs.
Gifted & Talented Program
Gifted programming at John Evans and throughout the district will be different this year. With the support of our School Board, District Administrative Team, not to mention recent passage of H.B. 1244 guaranteeing gifted education services in our state, our mission is forthright and our work well defined: gifted and talented students need to reach their potential through high-level instruction and challenging opportunities.
Over the years, changes have occurred in how gifted students are serviced. This requires a shift in thinking from “a program” to “programming” needs of a gifted child. This year in order to be in compliance with the Colorado State Improvement Plan for Gifted Education, we will begin the process of developing an Advanced Learning Plan for each identified student. This plan will match services with student needs and strengths. Parents, along with the G/T teacher and classroom teacher(s), will be part of this process. Learning plans will be reviewed annually and used to guide any programming planning and decisions for each identified child. The role of the G/T teacher at each school has also changed from being a sole deliverer of services to a facilitator of services: at times providing direct instruction, at other times team teaching or being a resource to classroom teachers, parents and administrators.
Greeley All City High School Band
The Greeley All City Band is selected from the very best Band students in the 7 Greeley High Schools. The draft for the 2009 Band will be held in November. The band will rehearse on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008 and Thursday, Jan. 8, 2009 at Northridge H.S. from 6:30-8:30 pm. The all day clinic will be on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009 with a concert at 7:00 pm in Monfort Hall, U.C.C.C.
