Guest Speaker On Tuesday October 27th, 300 J. Evans students listened to a guest speaker from Pakistan. Josna Azim came to speak to the students about education and literacy of the women and children in that part of the world. Josna Azim’s organization, Women's Development Association (WDA), raises awareness and money in order to educate others. J. Evans students raised over $200 in one week and presented Josna Azim with a check after her presentation. From pennies to dollars- our students displayed one of the most humbling examples of selfless giving the staff has seen. Josna was overwhelmed. As a result of our donation, two female students will be able to attend school in Pakistan for the entire year. Josna will be sending us pictures of the students who will be going to school as well as contact information so we can write them throughout the year! Thank you to students, parents and staff for sacrificing to make this happen. Awesome job, Dragons!
